Drâmba este unul dintre cele mai vechi instrumente din lume. În dimensiuni mici, produce un sunet grație vibrațiilor unei lame care rezonează în gura muzicianului. Plasat între dinți atunci când este din metal (Occident) sau pe buze atunci când este din bambus (Asia), permite să antreneze respirația și rezonanțele corpului.
După o călătorie în Cambodgia în 2017, am adus înapoi câteva drâmbe de bambus cumpărate de la un bătrân în fața unui templu din Angkhor. Am învățat să cânt puțin câte puțin în timp ce m-am străduit să termin scrierea tezei mele la Cluj Napoca în 2018. Astăzi, drâmba de bambus a devenit un obiect al vieții mele de zi cu zi. Tot cu două drâmbe de bambus că am creat muzica pentru spectacolul „C’est bon. E ok. Rendben. This is just a story” care va fi prezentat la Uzina Foto Joi 11 și Vineri 12 iulie https://www.facebook.com/events/855209544850902
În această iarnă, am rugat un prieten să-mi aducă niște drâmbe de bambus de la Phnom Penh, să împărtășesc acest instrument cu cei care vor să-l descopere cu mine. Timp de două ore, vom lucra împreună la respirație, ritm, voce etc. pentru a explora diferitele posibilități ale acestui instrument.
Atelierul este deschis tuturor, nefiind necesară experiența anterioară.

The jaw harp is one of the oldest instruments in the world. Small in size, it produces a sound thanks to the vibration of a tongue that resonates in the musician’s mouth. Placed between the teeth when it is made of metal (West) or lips when it is made of bamboo (Asia), it enables to work on the breathing and resonances of the body.
After a trip to Cambodia in 2017, I brought back some bamboo jaw harps bought from an old man in front of a temple in Angkhor. I learned to play it little by little as I struggled to finish writing my thesis in Cluj Napoca in 2018. Today, the bamboo jaw harp has become an object of my daily life. It’s also with two bamboo jaw harps that I have created the music for the show „C’est bon. E ok. Rendben. This winter, I asked a friend to bring me some bamboo jaw harps from Phnom Penh, to share this instrument with those who want to discover it with me. For two hours, we will work together on the breath, the rhythm, the voice, etc. to explore the different possibilities of this instrument. And you can leave with your own jaw harp to extend this experience. No special experience is required, just the desire to give it a try!

La guimbarde est un des plus anciens instruments du monde. De petite taille, elle produit un son grâce à la vibration d’une languette qui résonne dans la bouche du musicien. Placée entre les dents lorsqu’elle est en métal (Occident) ou sur les lèvres lorsqu’elle est en bambou (Asie), elle permet de travailler sur la respiration et les résonances du corps.
Après un voyage au Cambodge en 2017, j’ai rapporté quelques guimbardes en bambou achetées à un vieil homme devant un temple d’Angkhor. J’ai appris à en jouer petit à petit, au moment où je luttais pour terminer l’écriture de ma thèse à Cluj Napoca en 2018. Aujourd’hui, la guimbarde en bambou est devenue un objet de mon quotidien. C’est également avec deux guimbardes en bambou que je crée la musique du spectacle „C’est bon. E ok. Rendben. Cet hiver, j’ai demandé à un ami de me rapporter quelques guimbardes en bambou de Phnom Penh, pour partager cet instrument avec ceux qui veulent le découvrir avec moi. Pendant deux heures, nous travaillerons ensemble sur le souffle, le rythme, la voix, etc. pour explorer les différentes possibilités de cet instrument. Et vous pourrez repartir avec une guimbarde pour prolonger cette expérience. Aucune expérience particulière est requise, simplement l’envie d’essayer!
