3g HUB presents the 4th edition of the city beautification project through street art. The challenge to the local artists involved in this year’s project was entitled “Târgu Mureș the future…” and focused on the metamorphosis of two electrical transformers in the city.
The first mural bears the signature of the V-Light Crew and is located in the Weekend Complex in Târgu Mureș. It presents an anamorphic vision of the city, highlighting the balance between nature and technology.
The second mural presents a four-sided painting symbolizing the relationship between “Mother Nature” herself and the city of Târgu Mureș, talking about how she makes her way through the universe of concrete and, at the same time, how important it is to appreciate both urban infrastructure and nature in all its splendor. It is located on the (surprise) Viitorului street in the Tudor Vladimirescu neighbourhood.
“We developed a composition that has two anamorphic focal points. The city and nature. Nature is presented as a treasure held in the middle of the city, in glass, a work of art. “, Nick from V-Light Crew told us.
“All of us in the group are nature lovers. From our point of view, the future of our city would be optimal if nature was in the foreground, beyond the concrete jungle and beyond the industrial areas of the city,” says Dishy from Blackbook Creative Group.
Metamorphoses (4) is a 3g HUB project co-funded by Târgu Mureș City Hall – Marosvásárhely Polgármesteri Hivatala, after winning the project competition for non-reimbursable funding of cultural projects for 2022.
